Lee P. Ellis

President and Broker-In-Charge

After graduating from College Lee joined the agency in 1982 and currently serves as President and as Broker in Charge for the real estate department. He earned the Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation in 1985, his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1992, and his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation in 1993, and Certified Personal Risk Manager designation in 2007. Lee has been teaching CE programs for IIABSC since 1994 and is Approved by the State of SC as an Insurance Instructor.

Lee enjoys spending time with his family, anytime outdoors and watching College Football.

William C. “Rocky” Hudson, Jr.

Producer

William C. “Rocky” Hudson was born and reared in Hampton County South Carolina. He was educated in the Hampton County Public Schools and the University of South Carolina. He married the Most Beautiful Girl in the World, Darainey O’Quinn Hudson. They have one son, Taylor.

He entered the insurance industry in October of 1989. His career began as an agent for SC Farm Bureau. In 1996 an opportunity arose to join The Ellis Agency. The rest, as they say, is history.

During his tenure with the Ellis Agency, he has earned a Certified Insurance Counselor Designation (CIC) This designation elevated the level of service and skill he is able to provide his clients. His goal is to provide a professional, common-sense approach to the personal and commercial insurance needs of his customers.

Mr. Hudson has served on the Town Council of his home town, Brunson SC for more than 20 years. He is also currently Chairman of Lowcountry Regional Water System.

Mary Ann A. Watson

Producer, Account Manager and Bookkeeper

MaryAnn Watson, originally from Hilton Head Island, SC, has been married to her high school sweetheart, David, for nearly 40 years. They have two children: Jessica and Sean, and four grandchildren: Corali, Nolan, Elijah, and Allessandra. David and MaryAnn moved to Estill, SC in 2002.

Since 1992, Mary Ann has built a successful career in the insurance industry. She holds her Insurance Producer licenses for South Carolina and Georgia and has earned her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) Elite designation from the National Alliance of Risk & Insurance and is currently pursuing her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation. With the Ellis Agency since 2014, she focuses on educating her clients and providing the best coverage for their asset protection.

MaryAnn is also dedicated to her community as a member of the Hampton County Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow, reflecting her commitment to service above self.

Kristin Thomas

Producer and Account Manager

Kristin grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and moved to South Carolina in 2003. She and her husband Michael are busy raising their three children: Zackary (21), who attends Wofford College, Miles (15), and Shepherd (7). Kristin began her career with our company in 2014 as a front desk receptionist. In 2015, she transitioned into an insurance role after obtaining her license, and since then, she has achieved her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) Elite designation and is currently pursuing her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.

Kristin values the friendships she has built with her clients and enjoys helping them navigate their insurance needs. Outside of work, she loves exploring her creative side and cherishing time with her family as they make lasting memories together.

Vivan Ellis

Realtor

Vivian Ellis has spent most of her life in Hampton County. She is married to Lee Ellis and they share two wonderful children. Vivian has experience in hotel management and the medical field before deciding to join her husband Lee in real estate sales in 1996. Vivian is a seasoned agent with 30 years of representing buyers and sellers.

Terry Harriott

Front Desk Manager and Real Estate Assistant

Terry Futch Harriott is a Hampton County native and graduated from Wade Hampton High School and the University of South Carolina.

Terry’s career began in Hotel Management in 1981 and spanned a thirty-two-year career. Her education continued with General Manager training for Best Western, Holiday Inn, Days Inn and Hilton. She changed paths in 2013 and worked as a Legal Assistant for eight years. Terry has been with the Ellis Agency since 2021 as front desk manager and real estate assistant.

Terry is the proud mother of one son Christopher and Gammy to her three grandchildren Kristin, Jesse and Dred.

Terry loves to spend time with her grand babies and travel as often as possible.

Raine Nascimento

Virtual Assistant

Raine is originally from the Northeast of Brazil and holds a degree in Hospitality, along with an MBA in Business Management. She discovered her passion for service through the hospitality industry, where she developed a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Raine joined the Ellis Agency in 2025 as a Virtual Assistant, where she continues to grow and strengthen her skills while supporting the team and clients with efficiency and care.

Both inside and outside of work, Raine is known for her outgoing personality and her eagerness to learn new things. She has a deep love for nature and enjoys exploring hiking trails and spending time by the ocean whenever she can.
